Warrington Warwick Girls Basketball fields competitive travel teams for girls age 9 to 14. These teams play in the Suburban League (Bucks and Montgomery counties) and the Northeast Girls Interclub Basketball League (Lincoln High School, Philadelphia ) . Travel season runs from the end of October until mid-March.

Interested players must try out for the travel teams.  Try-outs are held in October.  To try out, you must register for the winter season and indicate on your registration form that you are interested in playing travel basketball by the travel registration deadline, which is in late September.  A coach will then call you to let you know when and where tryouts for your age group are being scheduled in October.

Should you have any questions, please email our Travel Program Director, Kevin McGowan, or see a director at our summer basketball games or instructional clinics.

A League Record 4 WWGB Travel Teams Capture NEGICBL Championships

A WWGB organization and NEGICBL record six teams competed in their NEGICBL league championship games on Saturday, March 24, 2007.  The 9A, 10A, 11A, 12B, 12A and 14B teams all qualified with key playoff victories.  This was the most teams participating in championship games in a single year, by a single NEGICBL member organization, in the league's 35 year history.  With the 11A, 12B, 12A & 14B teams capturing their championships, WWGB now also owns the NEGICBL record for most championships in a single season by a member organization.  Congratulations to all the players and coaches for their fine showing and contribution to this historic achievement.  Hearty congratulations also go out to our 9A & 10A teams for their great playoff runs that just ended up short of that elusive championship, but also represented our organization well with their fine play this season.

      GREAT JOB, LADIES!!!
